Job Overview:

The Project Manager for the Daly City will play a pivotal role in developing and executing projects and strategies. The Project Manager will report directly to the General Manager. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded professional who thrives in a high paced environment with a strong focus on both traditional and non-traditional methods. The ability to collaborate effectively with field personnel, including General Managers and Regional Managers, is crucial. Candidate must be a highly driven, motivated, self-starter who absorbs knowledge and builds on it to bring ideas to life.

 

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Project Manager to join our team. This role you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of a project from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of plumbing, be organized, detail orientated and looking to grow with us. 

 

The Project Manager is responsible for delivering project that span across one or more business units. Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to phase gate, quality, and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full project management lifecycle. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to project delivery process improvement initiatives.

The Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost. Achieves the potential benefits defined in the business case.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and manage plumbing projects from start to finish.
  •  Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  •  Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  •  Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  •  Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and inspection reports.
  •  Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project progress and issues.
  •  Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  •  Ensure compliance with local building codes, plumbing regulations, and safety standards.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager is a must.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a huge plus, but not required.
  • This role would put in charge of your Underground Engineering Department.
  • The primary responsibility of a Plumbing Project Manager is to secure and manage construction projects for safety compliance, quality control, on-time scheduling, profitability and maintain good customer relations for the purpose of repeat business and negotiated work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with field personnel.
  • Project Managing software like Monday
  • Experience in Skilled Trades is highly desirable.

Physical Demands:

  • Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time
  • May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
  • May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
  • Must be able to maneuver up to 25 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing

PAY TRANSPARENCY:

 

The annual pay opportunity for this role ranges from $80K-$110K DOE. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility.

 

We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
